getting closer to reality

The Gameworld Builder training last month was devastating for me.

But mostly it was expansive.

What I thought was a Gameworld has shrunk and grown.

I'm entering a completely new territory of Gameworld building.

And I want you to come with me!

Even as I'm writing this email, I keep coming back to these questions:

~ What is the quality of relating you want to cause in the world with your gameworld?

~ Is what you're doing right now leading to the kind of relating you want more of?

~ What kind of relating are you sourcing right now?

The people around you are your team, your circle, your village.

But you're not seeing them because you are:

~ Busy working and doing busy-ness

~ Blinded by your own emotional rollercoaster

~ Projecting your ideals on them

~ Selfishly proving to them that you're valuable

~ Holding stories, expectations or resentments

These are all actions that take you away from what you really want.

It might seem like these are the only ways to get to where you want.

But what if the change that needs to happen is closer to you?

What about...

Committing to the people showing up in your life.

Committing to their conscious commitments.

Being a YES for them.

Being a YES for you and the kind of relating you want to create.

Modern culture will tell you that you can't bake the cake and eat it.

What kind of bullshit storyworld is that?

Really? You can't bake a cake and eat it?

Watch me.

Since birth we're programmed with tons of bullshit like that.

Now, as an adult, you have a choice.

1) Keep swimming in the same bullshit

2) Start using the bullshit and cowshit as fuel for evolution

What do you really want to create?

What does a day, a week, a month look like in your gameworld?

You might get a hint of the answer to these questions by looking at how you feel right now.

Mad, Sad, Glad or Scared?

Let it be big, let it be wild.

Don't let go of it until you let it be as big as it is.

Don't let go until you get the information from your feelings.

Also, don't hold on to it.

You choose what to do with it, not your feelings.

Drop the show!

Nobody is watching.

Nobody cares about you the way you think they do.

Get close to story-less, conclusion-less, unbiased, experiential reality.

Make this your new point of origin.

Experiment from here.

And see what new results you create.

Let's play!

Love,
Jorge

P.S.: This month I'm celebrating 1 year of our nature school and villaging project Magic Waters.

For 1 year, I've been going with a small group of children to play, learn and explore in nature.

We started with 3 families (4 children), and now the group has grown to 7 families (12 children).

If you have questions about how to start your own community-organized nature school, let me know.

P.S.2: Salt Spring Island. An Introduction to Rage Club is brewing.

If you're on the West Coast, this is a great opportunity to level up your skills to use your voice and your feelings to discover and fuel what you care about.

Respond to this email for details.

If you don't know what a Rage Club is yet, check it out here: https://rageclub.org/

I've been listening to the audiobook Grandfather from Tom Brown Jr. This book, narrated by the author, is a gem for those seeking for answers about: ~ The role of human beings on Earth ~ What did it look like in north america before and while modern culture started taking over? ~ How is survival and living connected? ~ Are human beings a life taking parasite species? ~ What is really going on beyond what we were taught in school? ~ How do I live my vision and purpose? In the book, Grandfather...

10 years ago my heart shattered about life. The biggness of the world. My belonging in this world. The cruelty of human beings. The level of numbness that human beings use to survive in this world. Humans exploiting life, animals, plants and other human beings. The robotic way of spending a whole life working to make somebody else rich. The frantic zombie-like chase of money and success. I didn't know then, but I was grieving. A grief that was bigger than my being. An ancient grief that...

It’s May 20th. Today is my birthday, and I want to celebrate it this morning by writing in this space. For me, this writing space is about being at my edge. It’s also about sharing what I’ve been discovering and making invitations to be, play and work together. This week, I’ve been discovering how much of my orientation is about controlling what others think of me. The sensation is that I walk around not looking through my own eyes, but through the eyes of others looking back at me. It’s...
