It’s my dad-birth today!

8 years ago Around this time I became a dad for the first time. Today is my birthday as a dad So, what do you call that? Birth-dad? Father birthday? Dad-day? Anyways… In my family's culture this is day we parents celebrate. We celebrate the day the parents became parents. For the first, second, third, or tenth time… Being a parent will push you to the furthers edges of life. And I mean this! The brightest places. And the darkest places too. Come on people, We're talking about what life is made out of! I'm talking about the creation of a new being. Bringing a new being to life. The seed that man and woman come together to give life to. Being a parent will push you to your furthest edges. My dream is to have more parents and people around me and my family. The online screen world doesn't quite work for the children. But, that is a topic for another time. If you love children… If you love life… If you love music… (more than just the average person) If you love stories… (telling, making and reinventing them) If you love this world and would do what it takes to protect it… If you love to experiment… If you love to read, write, paint and create… If you love to travel and discover the different biomes and cultures of this world… If you want a nomadic village of artist travellers… This is what I want for my birth-dad… Dad-birth… Dad-day… Whatever. Seeing their faces is a constant reminder of the miracle of life. Seeing them grow is the greatest wish I could ever ask for.
